"Lilly get up!"
She let out a small yawn before getting up out of bed. "Mommy, why do you always wake me up?"
"Because darling, today is the day!"
"Huh? What day?"
"Today, is the day, that you meet the prince!"
Lilly rubber her eyes. She had grown in many places, places that she had no idea could grow, the Goddess had promised that this life would be it. Lilly got up so fast out of that bed, honestly Claris thought it was going to be a fight with her, but this princess was tossing clothes every where. Soon she had gotten a very flirty outfit on. "Mommy, could you tie my hair back for me?"
She turned to see Claris just so shocked, this fourteen year old was very eager. Lilly had 40c breast, and she had grown more to look like her Mother. Her hair never turned back to it's origninal color that she was born with, and her ears still pointy. Princess Lilly hair very nice wavy white hair that when down to her thighs. "I uh...I..guess."
"Well I could just do it myself..it's okay."
"No, I mean it's find darling I just wasn't expecting this."
"This?"
"Well you getting all..dressed up just for a boy."
Lilly thought about it for a second, she had lots of reasons, but one would be good enough. "In one of my past lifes I had siblings that had lots of boyfriends, and since I kept dying before I could even get to this age," she pulled her string in the front tightening the dress, "well I never got to have romance, just silly little crushes on cute little boys. The difference is now though, I'm meeting someone who isn't a child, someone whom I could potentially marry."
No doubt, she had thought about marriage and of course going on romantic dates, Lilly just smiled at herself imagining things happening between her and this unknown stranger. "I just think that this is going to be fun!"
"Fun? There is nothing fun-"
"Out of all stories I've heard of, the princess always gets with the prince, and they both live happily ever after. But of course there are standards."
Lilly still talked quiet, which was obviously the cute side of her, but she had a strong personality, and Claris was rather protective of Lilly. "I really don't think that outfit-"
"It's looks fine," Lilly patted her tummy which was very small, she was a sly foxy girl, and that dress fit like a glove. Such embroidery came from one of the towns shops, but the Princess didn't mind who made the dress, just if it fit. "Lilly?"
She turned to see her Father, whom was Arthor, she had considered him family as soon, as he saved Lilly from the island, "see I want someone like Daddy. Not really like him but like him."
Arthor chuckled, "I told you Claris, she was going to go all out."
On every holiday, which Lilly had invented, she would give small chocolate hearts to the people with magic, she would never show how she made such a thing, but she had loved the people, she loved everything about these mermaid people.
"I didn't go all out. I mean..I haven't even...touched the makeup."
"Which you are not going to touch until you are old enough to marry."
It felt like she got smacked hard by a fly swater, but it made her common sense come back, she was still young, which meant that she could have boyfriends, and if her heart was to break for the first time, then she'd have experience on what NOT to do when in a relationship again. "So? Fine, I cannot touch the makeup, but I can talk about marriage."
"You do not know anything about marriage my darling. Now stop daydreaming and come sit."
Lilly took her place on the soft sabor cat skin. Claris french braided her hair, then put tiny sea shells in her hair. Lilly had picked out the most sufforcating dress, and had light colors on to at least keep it cool.
....
"Prince Leo."
The doors opened and Lilly just waited for about two mintues. Once both noticed each other though, the two let out a very long sigh in relief. Princess was a hot babe, and Prince was a swooner of the ladies. Prince Leo had very light blond hair, a nice smile, chizzled chin, then his eyes were so deep green. If not for the crown on Lilly's head, her elve ears would have stuck out like a sore thumb.
Queen Claris stood up and introduced herself, then she waited awkwardly for Lilly to say something, or at least get up, maybe even introduce herself, but no, she just stared at this amazing manly man before her. One deep breath, then she was up.
It took his breath away of how she moved so elegantly towards him, and the silk dress just swayed with her hips almost hypnotyzing him. "Princess Lilly I assume?"
"You assume right."
He got down on one knee and took her hand in his, even her hand was like a soft rose pettle, but that had always been that way with the race of the mermaids, these people had the soft smooth skin, and they smelled of fresh fragrence from the very ocean that they live in during the summers. He kissed the very top of her hand, and hesitated to get up for a moment. "Honestly I was nervous," Lilly admitted. He realized she was a quiet thing, so he would just need to listen more, which he had no problem with what's so ever.
"Nervous?"
"Well I thought that maybe you'd look..like another creature."
"Oh. Well actually my people, we are wolves."
That explained why he looked so handsome, not to mention how badly she just wanted to touch his hair. "I'm sorry if I offended you then."
"N-no."
They had forgotten of any duties, resposibilities, and instead, began walking off with one another. Prince Leo's parents weren't even in the room yet.
"Actually Princess, I was rather nervous also."
"Oh?"
"I thought that you would be..well not so good looking."
It felt like the heat had turned up, but Lilly could have sworn that the dress was cool enough, until now. "Your face is all red."
"I-I uh..." He just chuckled at her as she studdered her way to find a reason for it. "It's fine Princess."
This guy, was certainly a flirt. Perfect tones, perfect hairline, everything about him was rock solid gold. "Please just..call me Lilly, I don't really like to be formal when it's just the two of us in the hallway walking to no where."
"Who said we were going no where?"
"Well it's not like you know this palace. Unless you creepily have been stalking me."
"No, forgive me, you're right."
"Nothing to be sorry for Prince leo."
"Please, just call me Leo."
....
"So where did those two go?"
"Well Queen Silla, they hit it off pretty well lets just say."
"Is that so?"
....
"So you are a fish?"
"A fish? Oh my, don't let my Mother hear you say that. We are mermaids."
They just kept walking in circles until finally they had ran into the grown ups while chatting, well, not really chatting, tiny flirts, it was clear that Lilly had a deep crush on him and he had taken a liking to this Princess.
....
"No Mommy, he's not good."
"What? You two seemed so..."
"He's a ladies man," Lilly crossed her arms. The bath water was lukewarm just the way the two preferred. Just enough space for two tails. "What happened that was so wrong with him?"
"He kept staring at my boobs."
Claris silently slipped into the water next, "he's a teen wolf, what exactly did you expect? What were these odd stories you fantacise about?"
"I told you, the Princess lives happily ever after, that's what I want.."
Lilly looked down into the water for a while, looking very gloomy. "Why is it important to you?"
"Because it's not fair. I died in my first life as Princess Queria..then all my other lifes...not once did I have a boyfriend or someone..I just popped out of the birth Mother and lived for ten years."
"Ten?"
"Ten..the Goddess didn't want me to be in a place where I wasn't really needed. Until she brought me back to this realm. She gave me to a woman who indeed needed a child, so I aggreed to another world adventure. What I didn't know, was that I'd be kidnapped," Lilly trailed off with that, it was still bothering her. "Are you okay?"
"What? I-I'm good, I'm good."
"You don't sound good."
Claris could tell when something was on her mind, but this time, she must have had a lot on her mind. Her eyes looked a bit tired. "Have you been sleeping?"
"Yes! I have, y-yes."
"Did you just lie to me?"
"Y-yes."
"What's on your mind my child?"
She kept shaking her head at Claris, "no, I don't think I should tell you, it's not really something to tell."
"Oh."
"I just...it's very complicated."
"Then how about I read your dreams?"
"Hmm? Read my dreams?"
"Yes, so that it's not complicated."
....
Lilly sat awake not even falling into a deep sleep, and Claris just waited. "I can tell your scared of something," she teased Lilly. "No I'm not!"
"Are too."
"I'm your Mother, Lilly, I suppose it's hard to tell me things, but we tell each other everything."
"Not everything," Lilly corrected. "Oh? Is there something that your hiding from me?"
Lots of things actually, but Lilly wasn't going to expose that. "Nope."
"You just said-"
"Mommy, I'm very tired, and uh, I don't want you reading my dreams, so please go to sleep before me."
"Fine," She stubbornly went to her closet, pulled out her pajamas then went to the bed wearing a bath robe. Honestly not pajamas but they will do Lilly thought. Arthor came in next then he did the same. He got in his spot on the other side of Claris. Lilly went to her closet, then got into bed right next to Claris.
.... DREAM LAND ....
"Bell?"
The red head popped her head out, and she stared back at her parents, she had been reading a book inside of a closed cabinet. "Come out please."
Bell stumbled around a little before making her way over to them, "we got to see a doctor honey."
"Sucker?"
"No we didn't get a sucker this time, but we did find something right up here."
She tapped her forehead, Bell just smiled then tapped her forehead back, "no, darling..there is something growing inside your head..it's mean."
"It's mean?"
At first things were nice, but this was only my second life as Bella. It was like I was going through a nightmare again, and I didn't want to die. The cancer was at stage four though and nothing was working. So the thing that was keeping me up, was the fact that I keep dying over and over again, then it all comes back to my first life.
....
Claris tapped her head, then withdrew the nightmares from her head, this was odd for a mermaid to have dreams without them being real or coming true, but it must be that she just wasn't asleep, it's like she's day dreaming.
Lilly sat up after feeling that tap, and she got out of bed, not hearing the voice of her Mother, whom was calling after her.
....
"Lilly what are you doing in here?"
Her hand was on the Gem, and she had just stood there, for several minutes letting that glowing stone burn at her hand. Finally she snapped back into place and she bumped back into the wall. The Gem took it's fall to the floor, cracking.
"Ohh, no.." Claris picked it up and she placed it back on it's pedstal, she clasped her hand back on top of it though, then fixed it right on up. "You must be careful Lilly."
"I didn't...mean to."
Turning around to look at her, she had noticed a strand of her hair, was silver. Lilly had some silver strands of hair every where on that head, and her cheeks had gotten very rosey, such a perfect woman that her daughter was becoming but how?
Lilly nodded a bit, "I uh, I remember what happened to my people."
"Oh?"
"They are in a temple."
"Temple? What temple?"
"The Ancient Kingdom, which is nothing but ruins now, well, it had a city under ground. The city was meant to keep out the poison, the toxins. It was all still a working progress. They are all living underneath barrial grounds."
Lilly licked her dry lips, "and I'm going to find them."
"Woah! No!"
"They are my people. These are my people. Elves aren't just a dumb race that disappeared a long time ago, they have always been here, always been what I have been looking for. This is what the Goddess meant. I am important to my people and for the longest time they have been under ground."
"I understand you think that way Lilly, but this is our new life, do you really want to repeat history?"
"Repeat?? There is nothing to repeat! The goblins are dead! I killed them all! What lays on the surface is nothing more than bones, and old structure, and several old bones. My people live long. For I have failed to do as my parents wished."
"Am I not your Mother?"
"Well yes..you are, but this is different."
"How??"
"I-I don't know, but if you feel like I shouldn't go alone, then send Prince Leo with me."
She hesitated, "your too young."
"To do what?"
"To go out into the world and just think it's a safe place Lilly."
"Out of all warnings...I know it's not safe."
More than anyone would know, Lilly indeed has experienced many things. "I will not except it, so you will just stay here, now come, back to bed."
"I-I-"
By morning, Lilly was gone.
....
"Why are you following me!?"
"Princess I just want to protect you."
"I don't need protection, I'm sure I can find my way Prince Leo..."
He got very close to her, and she shuttered as he just kept coming closer to her. "You hide behind a cloak, why is that?"
"I-I didn't ask you to come with me!"
"I know, I came because you are the most interesting girl that I've met."
He opened the carriage door for her to get in, he held his hand out, she took it of course, then she just let him hold her hand the entire way out of the Kingdom. "Princess, take off that silly hood."
"No," she groaned at him. Leo reached up and grabbed her hood, and for the longest time he stared in awe. "Your an..."
"Elve, I'm Princess Lilly."
"But-"
"I am and elve, and I'm a mermaid..my real title is Queen Queria the second."
His mouth dropped. "Queen Claris is really my Mother, but if you heard the stories-"
"The Goddess disappeared from the world, you were rebirthed?"
Goddess? Lilly was confused now. "Sure."
He smiled at her in such a way that made her blush. "So you are planning to do what?"
Leo appointed to the Gem, "this is mine, no, my Mother's is still at home."
"So are you nervous?"
"Why would I be nervous?"
"It's your first time going away from the palace is it not?"
"It is, I just, you know what? Just shut up!"
"Don't be rude-"
"No, you don't understand a single thing."
"Princess Lilly, please, I beg of you, do not ever do that again."
"D-do.." Once more he got very intimidately close. "I'm kidding, but by the looks on your face, I got you to finally shut up."
....
I couldn't stand him any longer, or I could, just not in a good way. Leo stopped us at an inn, we had arrived in his Kingdom. The neighboring Kingdom next door was just the next step, my graveyard.
Leo rest on the other side of the bed, and Lilly plopped down right next to him, "oh? We are sharing the same bed?" She asked. "Is there a problem with that Princess?"
Lilly shook her head, "no."
"Are you sure?"
"Keep asking and I may hit you."
"Right."
She felt him knudge some more near her, and since this was her first time being a teen, she didn't understand that the reason she was so frustrated around him, was because she felt very strong feelings for this stranger, but indeed he was just a play boy, so she ignored his feelings.
"Why are you traveling to the abandoned Kingdom?"
"My people are waiting."
"What if they are dead Lilly?"
"I'm not sure. I guess I go back home."
"Aren't you going to go back anyways once you do find them? Your her only child. Say you do find the lost civilization Lilly, say you do rule it over, what's left of Claris's Kingdom? She cannot have anymore children."
"She has Arthor, and mermaids live for a very long time also okay!?"
Very slowly his arm reached around her, "Princess, I will keep you safe on this journy. I must ask of you one thing though."
"What?"
"Leave your people."
....
Not knowing what happened to them after thousands of years, it was rather eating away at Lilly, she needed to know what came of her species, her past life, there were answers that just needed to be answered.
Prince Leo paid for the stay, gathered things from the market to take on the journy ahead. "So, what should we eat first?"
"I don't care Leo, just get something out."
"Why do you got to be so...bitchy."
"Bitchy!?"
"Excuse my language Princess Lilly."
"Look I didn't ask you to come! Why did you come!?"
Leo smirked at her, "a helpless damsel in distress."
"I'm going to kill you, I'm going to take this tiny Gem and jab it down your throat."
"Please do, kill me with your kindness, kill me with that raging passion of yours."
She rolled her eyes at him before secluding herself. "You know, just because you scooch farther away from me, doesn't mean you won't be able to hear me Princess."
"I need silence you twat."
"Twat?"
"Yes, sadly a word that you will never understand, want to know why? Because it's far ahead of time than you know."
"Whatever."
The two argued, and argued, until Leo silenced her with a kiss. It lightened the mood only a little. They had went back to flirting.
"So how long is this road again? I mean, until we actually get to the bridge then to the Ancient ruins?"
"Princess, did you expect this to be faster?"
"I hoped that some how I'd get there with just a snap."
"Well, when you find the magic spell to do so, then please try it out. Let me know how useless it will be to me."
The carriage came to a stop and he continued to smile. "How about a picnic?"
"Picnic? Don't you understand that this is really urgent!?"
"Yes, and so are bathroom breaks Lilly. You have been keeping those legs crossing pretty tightly since we left the Inn."
Lilly gasped at his lack of modesty. "You disgusting pervert."
It wasn't bugging him, Leo just had a smile, he never once faltered on being happy around her, this slight trip, was just a big delight for him. Not to only make fun of her, but to get her to change her mind about taking over her Kingdom again, because he had fallen for the Princess.
"You want me to what?"
"Get on my back."
"When you turn into.."
"Yes, a hairy beast."
"So what if my dress gets torn?"
"You were about to go on this adventure alone Princess Lilly, and now your worried about a few twigs ripping your dress and getting it muddy?"
Honestly no, she just didn't want to be dirty in front of him. His clothes ripped to shreds as his claws ripped it off, now what was left was a very big, wolf. At first he bowed down, signaling her to get on, but she just stood and stared. The Princess slightly smiled before allowing herself to just go with it and sit on his back.
They got to the bridge in a matter of seconds, and they just stared together, him naked, and her fully clothed, looking at the broken gate. "This bridge can only hold one Lilly."
Yet it was all stone...
"Then I will go Leo."
"What? Why are you trying to kill yourself?"
She didn't answer that, but she certainly wasn't trying. Princess Lilly stepped first onto the first stone, the bridge excepted her, but as soon, as Leo tried to cross, the bridge practically collasped.
Knowing that it was certainly take years for a bridge to be rebuilt, there was no way of getting home by just going through simple ways, no, the path now was also a crumbled broken piece of the palace that laid in ruins for years.
"I will jump!"
"No! It's too far Leo! Just go home!"
He stared after her like a lost puppy dog and instead, just waited.
....
The smell of the ruins was still there, it was as if the goblins had invaded just the other night. Lilly felt at peace though, this place just sent back horrifying memories, but also good ones. This was it though, Lilly would just need to find the secret entrence that only she knew of, that only she could open again.
After looking through rubble and bones, she found nothing. "Why is this so hard!?" Maybe it was because her home was in ruins? She did take that into consideration after saying it out loud to herself. In that moment of talking to herself, she heard a few clicks. These clicks weren't just normal clicks, it was as if someone had been standing nearby, and just had clanked a rock on a stone.
It was certainly, no bird. The noises continued until finally Lilly found her way down to a rock slide. Down below, were two odd looking sprites. Now there hasn't been life in the ruins in forever, so Lilly found this odd, she thought her Mother wasn't lying.
....
"What are you?" Lilly questioned, but it made the two things disappear as if they were just conjured up by her imagination. She found her way down carefully, then when she found her grand door right next to this land slide, she pressed her hands firmly onto the doors.
The rust pride open, dust, cobwebs flew right on back. Lilly started regretting this really quickly. The chances of this place collaspsing on her, were really great. Princess Lilly proceeded forwards though.
There was certainly life down below. Lilly could see that her people thrived, and were doing just fine. Everyone stared at her though, she stepped into the open, the very light blue cloak stood out, and that dress she wore, it also was almost a sore thumb. Feeling very foolish, she really regretted this. People started swarming around though.
This "mysterious" woman had her head down, and she just kept walking through this crowd until she found a clear spot to just rest.
They talked in different languages, one's that Lilly did, and didn't recognize. "How did you get in here?"
A voice, so deep, it almost sounded familiure. Lilly stood up, she raised her head, and looked around, some had gotten older since she last seen them, but none hasn't gotten any different by looks. It wasn't until her eyes rest on the people who raised her in the past life. They were a lot more closer to Lilly than anyone.
"Me?"
Lilly's voice sounded a tad quaked. She had a Mother, how could the Goddess do this? It felt like a very bad nightmare. Lilly sighed as her hood fell back finally revealing her pointy ears. As if by memory she looked around. The very tree she stood next to was very well green, old. "I suppose I got lost."
As if dumbstruck, Lilly shrugged again. Then she nodded to herself, she couldn't hold onto the Gem any longer. She didn't want to stay. Her eyes finally met Queria's, "I'm Princess Lilly, I'm from the Kingdom of the Seas."
"Quite a far ways from home...but I must ask, how did you get in here? This Kingdom is very well hidden, not to mention, a full breed-"
"I'm neither, I'm not a fish, and I'm not an elve," Lilly nodded, understanding what he meant now. "Then what are you?"
They oddly eyed Lilly as she unhooked the cloak, revealing the necklace. She took her hands up, unclasped the Gem then she looked up at Queria, along with Khan, "this belongs to you. I have come to do nothing more than return it, my Mother is probably going to kill me if I stay any longer."
A lot of questions kept rushing through their heads, she could tell, so this was her time to bow out. Lilly rest the necklace in her Mother's hands. "I lost this many years ago."
The priest clanked his staff down, "Queen Queria the second...you have finally came back. After all this time?"
Lilly just smiled, and she shrugged, "it has taken me a long time, and several deaths my priest, but I have managed to return, I'm nor an elve, or a Mermaid, I am beyond it all."
"After casting that spell, my dear, you trully saved us all..."
The elve's started getting down on their knees, Lilly just stood now in the middle of everyone, as they all knelt down. "No, no need to bow down."
Queria didn't know what to do or react, this was her child, and certainly had grown in certain areas, maybe in another life she was her's, but there was no difference if she was still alive and not dead. Lilly then remembered her lost puppy, Leo, who was still waiting for her like he said he would. She looked at Queria and just smiled, "I have returned the final piece to you, build yourselves up again, become great once more."
Lilly picked her cloak back up, "I must go now."
"There are no ways out."
"Huh?"
"Queria, my child, there is no way out of this place."
She looked around almost having a panick attack, she had been stuck in so many situations, but this was the worst, and having to be with her past life parents who have obviously recognized her!
"Oh no, I'm sure my Prince will find a way."
"Prince!?"
Khan didn't like that. "My birth Mother has me meeting a boy, he is rather sweet. In fact he's just the neighboring Kingdom right near this one, where the Goblin King used to rule actually."
Queria took in a gander of how old her child was, she didn't look any older than her own people, "how old are you?"
"I'm fourteen. My Goddess decided it was time for me to settle, I guess she just didn't want me to be your child though. She killed me then, then she killed me several more times until I found myself in the arms of a widowed Queen."
"This Queen...is she nice?"
"Of course."
"What happened to your voice?"
Lilly didn't speak for a moment, "it's a long sto-"
"We have time as you can see, it's not like we have any where important to be at this time."
Once more, Lilly sat back down on this chair, "when I was little I was kidnapped by some traders. The traders were planning on selling me along with a loot of other little kids," she stopped talking for a long minute, "long story short, the man just happened to slit my throat because I was screaming to loud."
She kept that smile, because it was highly awkward right at that moment. "You don't look any different," Khan whispered. That confused Lilly a tad, because these weren't her parents, well not anymore, because trully they were half. They also only had one child, which was Lilly whom they named Queria right after Queen Queria herself.
"Well you all might not have a way out, but I plan on making one because I can't stay trapped in this hell hole with all of you, I do apologize for putting you all in here, but it was the only thing I could think of."
The people just smiled as they started standing up. "So if you find a way out, we will find a way out."
"I believe so," Lilly picked up her dress and started on through the crowd. Soon she had found a stick, now it was just an old twig, but Lilly knew it could be more just like Claris had, she has a wand.
Lilly sat down in the dirt wincing at how her dress was getting muddy, but then she closed her eyes and connected with the twig. Once she looked down, it's tiny oak covering it had turned see thru like glass but with a string attached to the loop of one end, on the string was an island rose.
"Your magic has progressed."
"Yes. Indeed, I have been studying the magic arts since I was six."
"What spell do you intend on using to get out of this place?"
Lilly shook her head, "I'm going up, the old way."
"The old way!?" Queria shook her head, "it is dangerous!"
"What is so dangerous about the place?"
As she looked around there were no signs of evil, "there are goblins still inside the underground palace, and the toxins-"
"I'm sure it will be fine."
She proceeded to go on, until she made it to the underground secret entrance to the palace. Queria grabbed her hand, making her turn back around, "you Mother will be very angry if you die, and I don't need another war in my pocket!"
"I promise, nothing bad will happen to me. Now stop your worrying."
As if it was nothing Lilly opened the door, but she cast a spell on the outside to keep in the toxins that were still lingering inside. Without hesitation, Lilly went right into the darkness. She came back out looking so pissed off, and blood stains were all over the dress she had on. After coming out of that bubble leaving the toxins inside that room, she let such a frustrated scream out.
"What happened in there??"
Lilly gave them both a look, they didn't ask anything else. She was going to find some way out of that place, no matter how long it would take her. So much built up anger inside her from what she had witnissed inside that darkened place, she aimed her hands up and shot a huge bolt of fire up. A perfect hold in the ceiling now. Sand started pouring in though.
Swiftly she moved her foot in a circle, tapped the ground, and she forced the very ground the form steps to get out of that place. More than anything she just wanted to see Leo right at the moment. One, the Goblins were still down there, two, there were wolves, being held inside which meant that the Goblins had a new King.
Nothing was good at all. Lilly ripped her dress so that she could run up those steps, when she reached the top, Leo was standing there looking very angry. "Leo...they-"
"I know, I must go back to your Kingdom, will you please come with?"
Lilly stared at his hand, and the fact that she would get the chance to sleep in the same bed with him again, made her heart flutter. "Oh I'd love nothing more than-"
"Wow, don't mind if we come to do you?"
Lilly could feel the tension, her half parents glaring at her from behind, and then him stepping back a tad, "n-no, I got no...minds..."
Queria smiled, "well, good boy."
He growled a little, Lilly took her hand back, but he snatched her hand again surprising her, "these people, they need beds, you may all rest easy tonight in my palace, I will take the Princess back safely."
"Oh I think I'd love to meet the woman who raised Princess Lilly," Khan crossed his arms at him. He retreated his hand.
....
They walked very close, so the two half parents watched from behind just in case the boy would try pulling something, seeing how Lilly was there child also. Lilly turned back a few times, "my...what a lovely day huh? Look a butterfly-"
"If you think trying to side track, is going to work my dear child, then you are dead wrong."
Lilly started regretting her decision. What in the worlds had she gotten herself into? "Uh, Queria, I do need to point out-"
"I'm sure you have died several times Lilly, but you obviously still have our genes, no matter how many times you have died."
"I can't call you..my parents, look, I thought you were dead, I mean.." Lilly went quiet for a moment, she remembered it all as if it was yesterday, "you were both dead.."
....
Maybe it seemed like cruel fate to Lilly, "you were supposed to be dead okay!? You are right though, I am half of you, but I am much more, and I have a Mother who raised me to be a good obiedent girl...and now I'm out here, and she's going to kill me because I ran away!"
Prince Leo nodded, "yes, indeed she isn't going to be the slightest happy. Especially because you spent a night with me."
Lilly smacked him hard on the shoulder, "you prick! Shut it!" She scolded him. "You spent the night how?"
Khan started stepping up closer to the boy, and he started backing away. "I'm tired of walking Leo," Lilly interupted. She was looking a bit off for a moment, very exhausted. "Lilly, are you okay my dear?"
"Yes, yes, I'm fine! I'd just like to get home!"
Her hand was tightening on her wand. The more they walked the more she whined about her dress, and the heels, then how it started raining on them, nobody expected this very whiny thing to come out, it was like a very ugly monster. Her wand pointed at Leo's face, "this is your fault!"
"W-what?"
"You could have talked me out of finding my people! But nooo, you just went along with it!"
"I tried! You were to stubborn like your Mother!"
"Stubborn!?"
"Yes! Stubborn! Now your acting like a brat!"
"Brat!??"
Lilly slipped her heels off, "I am not a brat and for your information! My Mother is not a stubborn woman! She just isn't stupid!"
She whipped her hand out with the wand, and zapped an orc that was hiding. "How did you..."
"They are following us," Lilly shook her head, "this is why Mommy said not to leave the palace! Because there is danger out here! The orcs get me, they take over our Kingdom, then the Goblins invade with the orcs..this is why..." Lilly grabbed the top of her cloak, and hid herself. "You really need to get out more Princess Lilly."
"Shut up Leo!"
"You know, not to long ago you and me were kissing, and flirting, now you are trying to bite my head off Princess, did I do something wrong?"
He sure in hell was desperate to get her to break, he just wanted to let her know how much he cared for her, but she just wasn't seeing things clearly at the moment, her mind was spiraling, she then stood up and she looked at Leo, "Prince Leo, more than anything I would like to accept your feelings.."
"What is this now?"
"Look-"
"Why do you do that? Turn me towards you then turn me back?"
This was no longer private, it hasn't been for the longest moments, "I was looking for a happy ever after, as in, marriage, then children, a happy family, I wasn't looking for another war! I don't want to be pulled into it again! I won't need to!"
"Our Kingdoms are friends Lilly-"
"I don't want to do it! I can't just...I won't. The summers will come and my Kingdom will be under the waters of Shalia, we won't be able to fight for you even if we wanted to. I won't put my people through another war."
Out of all people, Lilly understood what war was, what it meant, this time, she would have to use all her strength to kill the orcs, and the goblins altogether alone, her parents had left that apon her once, now once more it felt like she was being pressured into it.
"I'm sure it won't come to a war, my parents are rather good at persuasion."
"Then what if it does, why would I poor my heart to you Leo? If you are to just die a couple days from now. Do you think it's just an easy task?? Go to war and fix every problem there is wrong? Some things are just left as it is."
"What things!? How could you be so afraid of a war that you aren't even going to participate in!?"
"I have fought my battles Leo, the things I have seen. Do you have any idea what it's like to just be tired all the time? Tired of living in this awful place? I can't imagine how lucky you are, because unlike you, I can't die. So I hope that you risking your life is well worth your while."
"Risking my life is worth my while! I'm doing it for my Kingdom! You are just scared that your going to die again!"
"Die!? I have lived for over a thousand years Leo! With the same occuring nightmares!"
The people surrounded Lilly and she started noticing this, "grrr!"
"I don't understand why your angry with me Princess."
"Because you are whom I'm supposed to marry Leo!" So irritated, Lilly barged through the people, and she just kept walking into the forest forgetting that her enemies were very close by. "Princess! It is not safe out there!"
She stopped walking, it was oddly quiet now. No birds, not a single thing. "Something is watching us," Queria stated before quickly striding over to Lilly to protect her. Lilly was sure of it also, something indeed was watching. It's intentions were to wait.
....
"Where did the Princess go?"
"She was just standing here next to me!"
Queria looked around, then they heard it, the laughter of orcs. No screams, just laughter.
....
"Uh...we lost the Princess."
Claris stood up from that throne, looking very, very, angry, Queria went to say something but Claris started rushing to the doors. Everyone just stared after her. She came back in adventure clothes. Then she held her hand out to Khan and Queria, "I am Claris, Lilly's half Mother."
Queria got more serious and she took her hand, "Queria."
"Ahh, I see. We will talk later about the Kingdoms, but for now, Lilly is in very grave danger. Lilly isn't normal, she is...the new Goddess of this world. If the orcs get ahold of her, or the goblins," Claris kept shaking her head. Leo explained to Queria about her situation, Claris can't have anymore kids, that when Claris had Lilly, that was it for her, not to mention Lilly was like a miracle.
"I'm sure we will find her."
"The orcs..."
"I understand Claris, lets just get going."
....
So, the two mother's plus side Kings, traveled, to the orc lands. Which was hell. Lilly was asleep in a tower, literally asleep, in fact she had a very long dress on with white roses surrounding her. This girl, had looked a bit, different though, but indeed it was their lost Princess. An orc entered the room, it was a female, she slowly went up to the princess and placed a cloth on her head.
"Sleep Goddess, you will get better."
Lilly slightly shifted, moving onto her side. she looked so bothered. "I do not wish to sleep any longer."
"The orc King will have you marry him by night fall."
"I do not wish to marry an orc. Why do you keep calling me Goddess? Why do you keep helping me?"
"I do not wish to harm you Princess Lilly, you are the Goddess of the realm, there are things that you just don't know, or understand yet."
"How could you know so much?"
"Because," the creature grumbled. "Sleep."
Lilly kept shaking her head, "then he will bed with you tonight."
Not understanding at all of what she meant by that, she just stayed awake, the toxins had made her body weak, and for two days, daily, the goblins had been coming into the room and spraying there poisons around. The flowers helped detox the room, but Lilly was just breathing it all in. "Fine, then you have chosen the hard way."
Lilly slightly sat up to see the orc King looking rather smug. The room shook a little as his feet smacked down onto the stone flooring. Lilly stared at the naked orc standing before her, buff, strong, green, long black hair, he looked very mean. His paw of his hand, grabbed at the end of her dress, making a terrible rip to go along with it. Lilly wasn't understanding what the orcs wished. The female orc backed out leaving him alone with Lilly.
Claris didn't wait any longer to see what was about to happen next, Lilly wasn't either. In fact Lilly still had her wand with her, she got on her knees, and just stared at him now. She was going to submit to him. Her hands went up to her sleeves, her breathing looked off. The King just stared amused of this girl taking her dress off willingly. When the dress slipped off her shoulders and on down, the King stepped closer.
"You are eager."
"For what?"
The King roared again. Lilly shrugged the dress the rest of the way off. Which was when the glass to the window nearby shattered, and two angry looking sets of parents came in. It didn't occur to Lilly that she needed to cover up, but she slowly grabbed her dress parts and fixed up everything before sliding off the flower bed. "Ahh, Queen Claris, and Queen Queria, long time no see."
"We do not wish for a fight, just give me back my daughter and we will go."
"I'm afraid she cannot leave."
His huge sword came swiping on down, almost hitting Claris. Claris zapped him with her wand, distracting him with fire, while they made there escape. Thanks to Queria she and Claris set two spawn points up, one was off near a tree the other was more closer to Leo's Kingdom.
....
Lilly looked very confused and drousy for a moment, that transportation was a doozy, but she was badly sick. "What were you thinking!?" Claris scolded her. "I just wanted to help."
"Help!? Now what was that back there!? You were just going to get fully naked in front of the King Orc?"
Lilly stared off for a moment, "I did what?"
They all looked very confused now, Lilly couldn't recall what she had been doing, or how she got into the Kingdom of Orcs. What she did know, was that there were very dangerous toxins sporing through her blood. "Let's get back to the Kingdom my dear," Queria whispered. Lilly wouldn't move though, "I can't just leave."
"What?"
Her face went completely red, "like he said, I have a wedding to tend to."
"What!?? Are you insane!?"
Lilly thought about it, and she probably was right about being insane, "the King said if I married him, then he'd stop attacking us, it would be like a peace treaty, if I marry Leo, then I'm marrying for love, but if I marry King Urn, then I get peace with my very Kingdoms, and worse case I die. If a child is what you want, then I will get with Leo, then problem solved, but my duties as Princess are to my people, are I cannot let another war happen."
"Then after you do all this Lilly! After it's all over! What are you left with!?"
"Nothing..I'll be left with nothing."
....
"Mother's just hear me out on this."
"You are fourteen!" Queria snapped. "I do not want some orc defileing my baby!" Claris shouted next. "You don't understand what a chance this is! I must serve my duties to protect my people! This is why I was born! I was born to serve my people! The Goddess sent me to prevent another war!"
"What makes you think that the Orc will follow through on this promise!?" Arthor grumbled next. "Because I am a Goddess. No creature can deny the demands. I can curse the Orc. Since I will be his wife, it will give me easier access to curse him. My magic is stronger no doubt."
"We said no, and that is the final decision," Claris stomped down her foot. "Mommy, I can't just let you make my decisions anymore, this world doesn't need me, I should be dead, but I'm not, instead of an ancient spell destroying me, it brought me to a Goddess, whom then told me that I was to do great things, that I would also be just like her. This realm needs help. Marrying the Orc wouldn't be so bad...who knows, I might just fall in love with the creature."
They all looked so pale now, "falling in love with an orc!?" Claris almost had a stroke. "I think I could change his mind, after all," Lilly patted her chest, "I have developed quite nicely. Also I don't mind the orcs, in fact, they looked more scared than mean. Not to mention, the Orc was my size, just like a man, he is no different."
"Stop waying the cons and pros!" Khan barked. "I'm just saying, that, there is a chance."
Lilly leaned against a tree for support of her legs, which were starting to feel week. "He also had nice abs."
"Enough!" Queria snapped. "I don't want an orc defiling you either," she added.
"Well, none of you will be there to see it happen okay? Plus, I am sure that he won't kill me, no, he won't need to."
She tipped right on over, and smack onto the ground.
....
"She will be fine Queen Queria, and Queen Claris, I have left some salt next to the bedside, give her a cube, and it should get her strength back up."
Weakening the Goddess, was only step one for the Orcs and Goblins.
....
Lilly stared at the cranky looking parents, Claris was laying next to her left side, and Queria on the right, "I asked you if you were okay after iiskia lowesri-" Queria proceeded to scold in the old language. "Baby girl, I do not want you to leave this room, understand?"
Instead of arguing, she leaned more closer to Claris, she wasn't choosing who to lean on, just she was closer. "I'm sleepy.."
"Then rest," Queria whispered, but she was restless, Lilly didn't want to just rest, she wanted to follow through with her plans, how could she not? If there was a way to save all the Kingdoms, and keep peace, then this was it. "I have to use the bathroom."
The two let her leave the room, without following, Lilly bumped into Leo, and her heart was racing with nothing but love, but she pushed it down and ignored him. "Lilly!" He grabbed her arm. "Let me go."
"Why?? Why are you doing this?"
"I don't like you okay? So please just leave me alone Prince Leo..let things just be, lets be friends."
"I don't want to be friends Lilly!! I want us to be together!"
"W-well, that's something that will never happen okay?"
Slowly he let her go, Lilly wasn't on her way to the bathroom, after he let her go, she withdrew her wand, then she just disappeared, well she turned herself into a bird. "Princess???"
Quckly the bird flew down the hallway. He turned of so fast towards the talking in Lilly's room.
....
"King Urn, I will accept the marriage proposal."
He didn't smile, he was rather shocked that she had accepted. The strong Orc resisted the urge to just kill her right where she stood, but instead, he closed his eyes, and started considering it, "I accept."
The terms of the marriage were very settle. "You come here without your Mother?"
"Yes, this is something I wish to do on my own."
"I like that."
The orc stood up, he was being more modest. "Come with me Princess Lilly."
He held his arm out, the furs rolled down his arm, she slowly took his arm, "usually people run, get scared, why aren't you afraid of me?"
"I've been scared before. I do not fear anything anymore though."
Urnest smiled, it didn't frighten her either. All Lilly felt was brave, she was doing this to protect her people, and if she could get him to love her, then it would fix the problems.
Lilly was taken to a room, and was shown a dress, a very long white dress. "Will this do?"
Her smile made him happy for the first time in his miserable life. "What kind of fabrin is this?"
"Webs, it's all spun from spiders."
"O-oh.."
"You do not like?"
"No it's amazing, but..what if it sticks to me?"
"Then I will rip it off."
Lilly was shocked at what he had said, the orc was getting to her, but in a way that made her body sing, not her heart. Lilly smiled, but her face was really red. "We shall wed tonight then."
"Tonight? Princess, that is a bit-"
"Sudden, yes."
He looked at her body, how very sexy she was looking at the moment, and those eyes that kept staring up into his, "well?"
"Y-yes."
Urnest didn't care anymore, he was getting the hottest Princess of the realm to be his bride, he also had a secret of his own. The reason he didn't kill Lilly when they first met...(her getting kidnapped) was because he fell in love with her.
Lilly moved closer to him, until she was about a step away, she bit her bottom lip, "well, if I am to be your wife, then I think, you need to kiss me."
Now it shocked him.
The young girl was seeing the kind beasts heart, he really had no intentions on starting a war, he was all talk, she knew this right away because he didn't kill her. Nor did the King smell, or have any odor that would make her turn and run. When he leaned down and kissed her, she was amazing by how soft his lips were compared to Leo's.
....
Leo stood so shocked, to hear that the Princess was now married, the three royal families were devistated. Claris was tempted to start her own war, and Queria just wanted to burn the orcs King to ashes.
....
The rumors had spread though, which made her people no longer hers. Lilly knew what it meant to marry the King, she took responsibility.
...
A Year In The Life...
Lilly came to love her husband, it didn't take long at all. She had softened his cold heart, even though he was an orc, she accepted him. Leo was no longer in her mind or heart. Every time she thought of Beauty and the Beast, she'd start to giggle to herself, catching her husbands attention. "You laugh?"
"It is nothing," she whispered to him. He accepted how she talked, so quiet. "There is a meeting we must attend to Lilly."
"A meeting?"
"With all the Kings and Queens."
Lilly's head slightly tipped, and she leaned on him, "must I go?"
Since she had married King Urn, she had changed the ways completely of the Kingdom, the Goblins, she had shown love, something none of the orcs of goblins could understand, not until she married King Urn. The Kingdoms had been at peace since then though.
"When must we leave?"
"Soon my love."
His arms wrapped around her, she was always so tired, almost like a baby, he enjoyed the moment with her. Lilly had lost everything the day she married him, she was thought of as a traitor, which is why she had not sent any messages to her half sets of parents. "Soon?"
"Tonight actually."
"I see."
Urnest stood up, untangling himself from her. She was already asleep. Urnest grabbed the blanket, then told one of his Orcs to get the crowns. There he carried his wife to a carriage made of green vines. The devine woman layed practically in his lap, but he didn't mind how unproper she was, he adored her, but he and her shared something special...
....
Lilly walked with Urnest to the garden, where all the Queens were waiting. He left her at the entrance, then went off to the Kings throne room. Lilly entered the garden, and had everyone's eyes on her, the silk scarf was around her securing her front of the dress. Such a beauty walking in, a fresh slated Queen. Although she didn't carry a Gem with her, but she did carry pride on her shoulders.
Everyone was just standing around, probably only twelve Queens along with her two Mother's who haven't seen her just yet nor expected to. Lilly had her own throne around the fire pit, a throne that had been empty for years. She took her seat, not worrying about anyone judging her or reacting to how sleepy she was, a couple times she ended up snoozing while sitting.
"You look awfully tired."
Lilly woke up to see Queria and Claris staring down at her. She would have bugged it and ran off before they started walking up to her, but she didn't see them, and now they were really close. They peered down at her with just tiny smiles. "I am exhausted," Lilly closed her eyes again.
"You look good," Claris tried. Lilly didn't say much, she more of ignored her, "Lilly-"
"Mother. You said you never wanted to speak to me again," Lilly pointed out something that Claris had forgotten. Queria looked at Claris then back down at Lilly, "well, in that case, Claris would love to tell you that..things are going well for Leo."
"Oh, good for him."
Claris was very surprised of how she just didn't care, "I have a husband, and we are madly in love, you can tell her that Mom."
Queria turned to Claris, but Claris held her hand up, "I heard her. Tell Lilly, I do not approve still."
Queria turned to Lilly, "Mom, tell my other Mother, that if she doesn't approve, that I still don't give two shits."
"Queria tell Lilly that-"
"I am not doing this with you two!"
Queria walked away leaving the two in awkward silence. Lilly closed her eyes again. "Seriously?"
"Is there something wrong Mother??? What? Am I bothering you now?? Would you like me to move??"
"No, I just can't believe you would try sleeping."
Claris smiled at her, "let's end this...thing between us."
"I have no thing Mom, your the one who's got the thing. I did what I wanted to help the people, I have helped them, now here I am. Everyone hates me, and I got a man."
Lilly smiled, "I have done what the Goddess asked me to do, I have made peace with the Kingdoms."
She was right, she did make the Kingdoms happy because of her marrying King Urnest, things had changed. No more raids, trades. Lilly was a miracle.
Everyone took their seats, the Queens chatted up a storm while Lilly rest her eyes again, just to sleep, until she felt an extreme pain in her stomach. Lilly tried to resist the urge to get up. "Lilly are you okay honey?"
Lilly's eyes met her's again, "did you...happen to not make it to the bathroom in time?"
That thing that her and Urnest shared, it was indeed something very special, something that Lilly thought she'd have more time for, but it didn't seem like she had the time anymore.
"Excuse me," Lilly got up, and made her way to the Kings meeting room. Arthor and King Hurren were having quite the chatter, and a Queen is never allowed in the room, but Lilly didn't care, she needed her husband right there and then with her.
"Lilly!?"
Urnest freaked though. He stood up and had this disappointed look on his face, but when her face scrunged up to look in pain, he stopped looking so angry. "I need you Urnest, please..."
Queria had followed considering she knew the rules, "Lilly you cannot be in here."
"I need my husband."
Lilly was crying now, it's not like she could scream out her pain. "My love, why do you weep?"
Claris then came after, Khan and Arthor stood up because of the disruption. "I apologize for my wife's-"
Lilly let a small squeak out, "Urnest if you don't get the fuck over here I'm going to rip your damn long hair out! Then shove it far up your ass!"
Frightened by her language he came right on over, Lilly grabbed ahold of his arm, "we need to go, right now!"
"Now??"
"Right now!!"
"What is it? Are the Queens not-"
"We leave now!"
She wasn't taking NO for an answer. She grabbed ahold of his hair in the back just as she started another contraction. Claris pulled Lilly away from him though. Back to the garden, where now those contractions weren't far apart, and Lilly knew she was close to giving birth, and more than anything she wished she was home on her bed of skinned sabor tooths. In another life Lilly had learned a few things about child birth, only because one of her older siblings had explained it.
Lilly split away from her Mother's, then she found herself lying down next to a big oak tree. She lifted her dress above her lacey top, and made the most of her time giving birth to a baby girl.
....
Lilly dragged herself up against the tree, while she held the crying baby, "shh my darling."
The tiny baby had patches of green, and tiny little horns on her head, small peach fuzz on the very top. Lilly wrapped the baby in the scarf that hung around her. Although weak, she made her way back to the garden, angry, and very emotional. She practically collasped onto her thones seat cushion. Everyone was staring again, they were talking about how she so rudely inturrupted the Kings, but obviously it was for good reason, for a baby was born.
The blood started seeping through her dress and down the front of her throne. "You are bleeding Lilly.."
It was like she wasn't listening, but when the Queens finally surrounded her to see what exactly she was holding a baby, a very angel like baby. She wouldn't speak, and she looked as if she couldn't hear. Clara just sat there for some time, waiting, and very much disappointed in her husband. "Dear, I am sure the little thing is hungry."
"I'm sure," Lilly whispered back. Her head rest though and she had found herself passing out.
....
"She's awake!"
Lilly stared at her husband for some time, as he held the tiny baby wrapped in the scarf. This was her Kingdom, home. Claris was tending to a nasty fever that Lilly happened to get while sleeping. "My heavens child..you scared me!"
"Why are you here?"
"I know..it's odd-"
"No I was talking to my husband."
His eyes widened. "M-me? This is my-"
"Correction you asshole, it is our room, also, for how you treated me, I don't think you should get to hold my baby right now."
"Your-"
"I birthed the baby alone, I give it a name alone, and you take it like a man and go do your damn King duties."
"Lilly-"
"Now, go on."
She got him to leave the room, and Lilly handed the baby to her Mother, "I'm assuming that I am in no condition to be holding her just yet."
"How did you do it Lilly??"
"Do what?"
"My baby girl, you have come a long ways it seems, but I am confused on how you gave birth to this child, I haven't even told you about child birth."
"Well you see, in one of my past lives I had a sister who was pregnant with triplets."
"Triplets?"
"It is when you have three babies instead of one...or in some cases two, for twins."
"O-oh."
"Well anyways, she told me about all these things about babies."
"How old were you when she told you these things?"
"Ten, before I died."
"Oh."
"Yeah, it was actually rather interesting. So I followed my older sister's instructions from memory, I took a squat near a tree so that I could lower myself down, rolled my dress up, removed the unguarments to the side so that the baby could pass onto them, and then there I was giving birth."
Lilly was starting to look like a book, just no cover. "Well..isn't that something..."
"Indeed."
"Is it awkward in here now?"
"I think just a little Mother."
"Well if she hasn't taught you how to breastfeed.."
"Ohhh..."
"Lilly?"
"Um, she hasn't..but I uh, I'm not sure I want you to see my breast."
"We are both woman my dear, nothing-"
"It's just, your's are...little and mine are...big, and I don't mean to seem.."
"We have the same size!!"
Lilly rubbed her forehead, she wasn't looking at her boobs, she just assumed that they'd be smaller. "Are you sure?"
"We wear the same dress sizes dear."
"Oh."
"I don't know how I feel now about you judging my-"
"Please Mom, forget I said anything."
"Uh sure, if that's what you want."
Lilly could tell, she wasn't going to just let this go..nope. This would be something that Claris would bring up for decades to come. "I'm not going to make you show me your breast dear, that would be rather weird, but what I am going to have you do, is let me show you how you place the baby."
Claris showed her the Mother tricks. Urnest knocked on the door and came in, looking rather sorrowful, but he smiled seeing his little baby girl wrapped up in her own Mother's arms. "Yes Urnest?"
"I'd like to..apologize."
"Oh?"
He let Arthor in, and was showing some sympathy to Lilly from the other day, "so, what is the name of our baby?"
"My baby's name is Maya."
"Maya...that sounds like a exotic name."
"It's not, now shut your mouth and come over here."
Urnest got on the bed with her, and she got more comfortable laying next to him, she just wanted to cuddle with him and the baby, though she was having trouble holding Maya. Urnest picked the baby up by placing his hand under her hand, and there, they just sat, enjoying the little creation that lay in her arms.
